The Many Uses of Hemp

Hemp is a very versatile plant that can be used to manufacture all kinds of products from clothing to shoelaces.  Hemp can be grown without pesticides or fertilizers, which makes it an excellent alternative to cotton. Hemp is a fast-growing plant.

The fiber of the cannabis plant is also called bark and is used to make textiles and paper. These plants usually produce 10% more fiber than cotton or hemp and are strong and fast-growing. Textiles made from hemp plants can be used to make shoes, clothes, screens, and carpets.

It is hard to imagine, but the strength of the cannabis plant can be harnessed and used to strengthen the building. Hemp, as it is known, is made by mixing cane, hemp, and lime.
